Compatibility Based Sites
Campartibilty based matching is a releviely new feature as far as relationship service providers go, and has gained momentum over the last five years with some of the larger websites either basing their service on comatibility or building brand new services to cater for those that would prefer this type of system like in the case of Match.com who have launched MatchAffinty.
The basic presmise of the system is that when a new user signs up to a service, they are asked to complete a compresensive personality profile, this takes the form of a questionaire asking questions that are designed to assess deeper traits, likes and dislikes bothe in the person filling out the forma and the type of person that they are looking for.
Large sites like eharmony have research budgets rinning into millions, and pin all of their money on the fact that the systems that they have researched, created and patenented actually work.
Many of the larger relationship sites have relationship and dating experts on hand that have helped to create what is regarded as an excellent tool to help users to find a lasting relationship.
Pro’s: Compatibility sites have very high success rates, in the case of eHarmony- 4% of all US marages can be attributed to the service!
Con’s: Limited search facilities and no ability to chat via webcam on site.
